About Me
Just to give you a little bit of background on myself. My name is Susie Cook, I’m 22 years old and live in Upstate NY. I was born and raised in the Philippines as a missionary kid (as of this year it has been officially 10 years). My parents soon became involved in the local church - my dad was the principal at the Christian school and now he’s the pastor, my mom has been involved with several ministries.
I was home schooled then I went to a small Christian school - I spent the majority of my life trying to be the perfect Christian girl. I struggled with insecurities and worthlessness, but was to afraid to ask for help. After high school I went to a discipleship program and now I run my own business.
The reason I created this blog was to have a place I could write my thoughts and insights from God. These posts are for me more than anyone else. God has taken me on a crazy adventure and I’m enjoying every step of the journey. I’m single and madly in love with my Savior.
